This message takes us deep into Acts chapter 8, where we encounter two very different responses to the power of the Holy Spirit. We meet Philip, who faithfully shares the good news in Samaria (an unlikely place for ministry) and Simon the sorcerer, who becomes captivated by spiritual power for all the wrong reasons. This ancient story confronts us with a challenging question: Do we approach our faith as a transaction where God becomes a means to our ends, or do we come with humble hearts saying, 'Your will be done'?
